Erasmus students CLE have benefit from the expertise of Prof. Jean-Paul Hernandez, an expert in the relationship between art and spirituality, who led the group along an interesting artistic journey through the streets of Rome. The students have admired the mosaics of the Basilica of Santa Prassede, the Basilica of Santa Pudenziana and the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, the three paintings by Caravaggio ( Il Martirio di San Matteo, San Matteo e l’angelo and La Vocazione di San Matteo ) hosted in the Church of San Luigi dei Francesi and finally the marvels of the paintings by Andrea del Pozzo housed in the Church del Gesù.
