The Erasmus Mundus CLE community is made up of students from the most diverse of cultural backgrounds, and it draws its strength from the confrontation and exchange of multiple worldviews.
Given the enormous potential of said multiculturalism, CLE students have organized a series of round tables that will provide opportunities to discuss their ideas and experiences regarding controversies in current affairs as well as their relationship with literature.
In a world driven by the logic of productivity, technology and efficiency, the question of why we read and study literary texts is ever present. After all, can literature be useful in today’s world, or is it too distant from the reality of day-to-day life? In our first conversation, we will discuss the raison-d’être of our very own subject matter.
