PLEASE NOTE - about languages skills

European Literary Cultures are based on plurilingualism; students must attend courses taught in different languages. For this reason, it is essential to know the language of the university in which the student intends to study during the first year (the minimum requirement is B2). During the first year the student will receive didactic support offered by CLE to learn the required languages (depending on the chosen mobility plan). Students without a sufficient language knowledge are advised to work on their language skills in order to avoid difficulties during their study period.

Students who choose Greece and Portugal in their mobility plan:  apart from the language required to access the Master Course it is necessary to work on the language skills of the local language during the whole study period.

For example:

- a student selecting Portugal without knowledge in Portuguese will be able to carry out the mobility with French and English knowledge. However, it will be necessary to learn Portuguese during these two years in order to carry out a part of the final defense and obtain the Portuguese degree.

- a student selecting Greece without knowledge in Greek will be able to carry out the mobility with French knowledge. However, it will be necessary to learn Greek during these two years in order to carry out a part of the final defense and obtain the Greek degree.
